Dominant The more powerful allele ~ takes over the recessive ~ Can give the physical appearences for EX: Brown hair, Brown eyes
Recessive It is the less powerful alelle ~ can give physical appearences for Ex: Blue eyes, Green eyes, Blonde or Ginger hair, etc
Homozygous A certain gene that is refered to have 2 capital letters which represent the same alleles~ These alleles could represent brown eyes if it is Homozygous Dominant or 2 lowercase letters if it is Homozygous recessive
Heterozygous Represents 2 letters which are 1 lowercase 1 uppercase This represents that an organism like a turtle contains the gene for both dominant and recessive the turtle may contain the gene for Blonde hair, but has brown hair...
