State of matter solid liquid or gas
solid When particles have low energy and have a high pull

atom Smallest unit of mass makes up everything
proton A particle in an atom with a posotive charge
neutron A particle in an atom with no charge
nucleas core of the atom
electron outside the atom has negative charge
electron cloud cloud of electons orbits the nucleas
valence electron Electon formed from hydorgen or carbon
periodic table Table with all of the scientific elements on it
reactivity How the element reacts with certain elements
atomic number The number given on the periodic table
mass number The mass goven on the element on the periodic table. Is exact
atomic mass neutrons plus protons
element something that is made up of certain kinds of atoms
