External Locus of Control | Individual believes that his/her behavior is guided by fate, luck, or other external circumstances |
Internal Locus of Control | Individual believes that his/her behavior is guided by his/her personal decisions and efforts |
Social-Cognitive Theories | Learning occurs through a combination of observation and expectation of behavior |
Observational Learning | Learning that occurs by watching others & observing consequences |
Bandura | Came up with the “Bobo Doll” Experiment—adults hit doll—kids who watched this also hit doll. |
Latent Learning | Learning that is not immediately expressed. |

Mono-chronic | stress a high degree of scheduling, and an elaborate code of behavior built around promptness in meeting obligations and appointments. |
Poly-Chronic | human relationships and interactions are valued over arbitrary schedules and appointments. |
