| What are Platelets | Responsible for clotting and sticking together upon response to and injury to a vessel. |
| What is plasma? | liquid part of the blood; Yellow; and carries everything along~nutrients, toxins, protiens, etc. |

| What makes up the heart? | Atrium, ventricles, valves, and conductive tissue. |
| Atrium | small, top part of the heart; takes blood away from body or lungs; pumps to ventricles. |

| Valves | Keeps blood flowing in one direction between the atrium and ventricles and vents to vessels. |
| Conductive tissue | tissue in the heart that coordinates the heart beating. |

| What is Systolic? | "maximum pressure" or increased pressure, pressure when blood is being forced out of heart. |
