ancestor n. a person from whom one is descended.
carnivore n. a creature that eats meat.
comprehend v. to understand.
duration n. the time in which something lasts or continues.
evident adj. east to see and understand; clear; obvious.
extinct adj. no longer living or existing.
ferocious adj. savage; fierce.
gigantic adj. very large; like a giant.
obscure (verb) v. to cover up or keep from being seen.
option n. a choice.
premature adj. too early.
preserve v. 1. to save; to keep from harm; to protect. 2. to keep from rotting or spoiling.
prey (noun) n. 1. an animal that his hunted for food. 2. one that is helpless or unable to resist attack; a victim
obscure (adjective) adj. not easy to understand.
prey (verb) v. 1. to hunt (animals) for food. 2. to take from or rob using violence or trickery
puny adj. 1. weak 2. lacking in size, strength, or power
