Sight terms

| cornea | transparent so the iris (color of the eye) and pupil (opening of the eye) are visable |
| chorid | contains the blood vessels that nourish the entire eye |
| retina | the lense focuses light rays on it. |
| rods & cones | within the retina are responsible for visual reception |
| optic nerve | within the retina transmits the nerve impulses to the brain for interpretation |
