Ductility The ability of something to be pulled into a wire.
Density The mass per unit volume of an object.
Solubility Ability of a substance to dissolve in liquid.
Solute A substance that is being dissolved in a liquid.
Solvent The liquid that dissolves a substance.
Magnetism The property for some objects to attract iron or iron like material.
Thermal Conductivity The rate of a substance giving off heat.
Electrical Conductivity Describes how freely charges can move in material.
Specific Heat The amount of energy it takes for a substance to raise 1 kilogram of a substance by 1 degree Celsius.
Characteristic Property A characteristic that observes or measure matter without changing what it is made of.
Melting point Temperature at which a solid melts to become liquid.
Boiling point Temperature at which a liquid begins to make bubbles and steam.
Freezing point Temperature at which a liquid changes to a solid.
Flammability The ability of a substance to burn or ignite.
Nonflammability How a substance can not burn due to fire.
Reactivity The state or power to which an object can react.
Chemical Change The change of which can not be reversed.
Physical Change A characteristic that observes matter without changing what it's made of.
