TermDefinition
Site Refers to the specific location of a place, including its physical setting.
Scale Bar Shows the relationship between map measurements and acual distance on earth.
Cardinal The four principal courses or routes of north, south, east, and west.
Compass Rose A map tool that indicates direction.
Key A map legend.
Cylindrical Projection A man of earth created by projecting earths image into a cylinder.
Conic Projection A map of the earth created by placing a cone aver par of the earth model.
