| loaf | an amount of bread that has been baked in a long, round, or square shape |
| roast | to cook (food such as chicken, potatoes, or beef) with dry heat in an oven or over a fire |
| coast | the land along or near a sea or ocean |
| scold | to speak in an angry or critical way to (someone who has done something wrong) |
| coal | a black or brownish-black hard substance within the earth that is used as a fuel |
