Identify and Demonstrate the Law of Conservation of Matter

TermDefinition
Law of Conservation of Matter (mass) the law that states that mass can not be created or destroyed in ordinary chemical and physical changes.
Reactant a substance or molecule that participates in a chemical reaction.
Product a substance that forms in a chemical reaction.
Coefficient a number that is written before a chemical formula which shows how many molecules of a compound are present.
