Identify and demonstrate the law of conservation of matter

TermDefinition
Law of conservation of matter (mass) The law states that mass cannot be created or destroyed in ordinary chemical and physical changes.
Reactant A substance or molecule that participates in a chemical reaction.
Product A substance that forms in a chemical reaction.
Coefficient A number written before a chemical formula which shows how many molecules of a compound that are present.
