Boiling point | the temperature at which a liquid vaporizes and changes to a gas |
Condensation | the change of state from a gas to a liqiud |
Freezing point | Temperature at which a liquid changes into a solid |
sublimation | the process in which a solid changes directly into a gas |
phase-change diagram | drawing that shows the relationships among temperatue and changes of state |
Plasma | a state of matter that forms when temperatures are enough to completely remove electrons from the atom to which they were bound |
