Describe the difference between pure substance (e and c) and mixtures
| Term | Definition |

| Pure Substance | a sample of matter, either a single compound, that has definite chemical and physical properties |
| Compound | a substance made up of atoms of two or more differents joined by chemical bonds |
| Molecule | the smallest unit of a substance that keeps all the physical and chemical properties of that substance |
| Chemical Formula | a combination of chemical symbols and numbers to represent a substance |
| Subscript | a small number written to the right and slightly below a chemical symbol to tell the number of atoms of that element in the substance |
| Mixture | a combination of two or more substance that are not chemical combined |
