Gram Basic unit in the metric system
Property a thing or things belonging to someone; possessions collectively.
Atom The building block of matter
Molecule The smallest part of a substance that keeps the characteristics of that substance.
Compound A substance that is formed when atoms of two or more elements join together
Protons subatomic particle with a positive charge
Neutrons subatomic particle that is neutral
Electrons subatomic particle with a negative charge
