Standard Precautions (Universal Precautions) A set of standards that lower the possibly of contamination and lowers the risk of transmission of infectious diseases
Total Parenteral Nutrition Large-volume intravenous nutrition administered through the central vein for a high concentration of the solution
Vertical Laminar Flow Hood Environment for the preparation of chemotherapeutic and hazardous agents where air originating from the roof of the hood moves downward and is captured in the vent on the floor of the hood
