| Term | Definition |

| Citation | A reference which names the source that was used. |
| Copyright | The person who has a legal right to reproduce, display, transmit, perform, and modify a work. |
| Cyberbullying | Cyberbullying is the use of digital media to deliberately and repeatedly hurt, harass, or embarrass someone else. |
| Victum | Someone who is harmed by another person. |
| Piracy | Stealing what does not belong to you. |
| Empathy | Being aware of and understanding what someone else is feeling or experiencing. |
| Avatar | A picture or image that you use to represent yourself on the Internet |
| Plagiarism | Using someone else's words or ideas as your own. |
| Tolerance | Respecting those who are different from you. |
| Trojan Horse | Programs that hide inside of other regular programs, such as games, disk utilities, and even antivirus programs that can do great harm to your computer. |
| Netiquette | Courtesy, honesty, and polite behavior practiced on the Internet. |
