Terms about Netiquette
| Term | Definition |

| RL | Stands for "real life". |
| Flaming | Abusing or harming someone with text such as email, social media, or texting. |
| Interlational Communication | Communication stepping out of traditional roles of society. Such as Facebooking your principle, or tweeting your teachers. |
| Netiquette | Behavior and manners in the virtual world. |
| VR | Virtual Reality, the digital world. |
| Digital Citizenship | "Character education for the digital age." -Jason Ohler |
| Multimodality | Using multiple methods of technology and media for communicating and learning. |
| Adhocracy | An organization that can cut through normal society's social setting to communicate. Such as a student posting a reflection on education which gets more attention via social media than a person with a doctorate in education. |
| ISTE | International Society for Technology in Education. They set many standards for students and teachers of how we should be using technology in the classroom. |
| CIPA | Children's Internet Protection Act, The act which helps schools afford technology for students as long as students and schools follow certain expectations. |
