Mechanism of Antibiotics

AntibioticMechanism
Ciprofloxacin Inhibits DNA gyrase.
Gentamycin Interferes with bacterial RNA fcn.
Clindamycin Interferes with bacterial RNA fcn.
PCN Binds to bacterial surface mb proteins, inhibiting peptidoglycan synthesis.
Vancomycin Interferes with insertion of glycan subunits into cell wall.
