Micoroscope A tool that uses a collection of lenses to magnify small objects.

Bouyancy the ability to float
Relative Density determines whether one substance will sink or float in another
Solubility the ability of a substance to dissolve when mixed with another substance
Conduct Electricity The ability to allow electricity to flow through it.
Insulate/conduct thermal energy conduct- thermal energy passes through insulate- thermal energy stays in place
Experiment a test conducted to discover something
Variable a condition or a factor that changes in an investigation so the effects can be observed
Pulley a simple machine made out of rope or chain and a grooved wheel
Force a push or pull that causes an object to move, stop, or change direction
Friction the force that resists motion when two surfaces rub against each other
Work what occurs when forces move an object over distance
Position the location of an object
Air Resistance a force that opposes the motion of an object through the air
