What is a difference and correlation? | Difference is performed between two groups or conditions and a Correlation is the difference between a person’s scores of two conditions. |
Difference | Needs strong data to calculate the mean and the std deviation and uses within or between participants design. |
Correlation | Looks are the strength of a relationship and needs strong data to be able to calculate the mean and std deviation. Using within subject or related design |
Parametric tests | Use Interval data and the sample should have a normal distribution |
What is Homogeneity of variance and what test do you use? | Similarity of variance, they need to be similar in order to calculate the population parameters. Use Levene’s test to make sure the variance is not significantly different (greater than 0.05). |
