QuestionAnswer
What is a difference and correlation? Difference is performed between two groups or conditions and a Correlation is the difference between a person’s scores of two conditions.
Difference Needs strong data to calculate the mean and the std deviation and uses within or between participants design.
Correlation Looks are the strength of a relationship and needs strong data to be able to calculate the mean and std deviation. Using within subject or related design
Parametric tests Use Interval data and the sample should have a normal distribution
What is Homogeneity of variance and what test do you use? Similarity of variance, they need to be similar in order to calculate the population parameters. Use Levene’s test to make sure the variance is not significantly different (greater than 0.05).
