supports Offers help and makes something stronger Example: Details support the main idea of a text.
follows To go after Example: What step follows cutting the apple?
selection The text, what you read. Example: What can you learn after reading the selection?
text Something written or printed.
important Having lots of value Example: What is the most important event in the story?
