TermDefinition
Physical Change A change in one or more physical properties of matter without any change in chemical properties.
Chemical Change A chemical change occurs whenever matter changes into an entirely different substance with different chemical properties.
Metals Elements that can conduct electricity.
Nonmetals Elements that generally do not conduct electricity.
Reactivity How likely an element is to react chemically with other elements.
Metalloids The smallest class of elements.
Flammiblity Easily set on fire; combustible; inflammable.
