Poetry Paint pictures with words. A special way of capturing experiences of feeling in deep, meaning way.
Meter Pattern of stressed and understand syllables in poetry.
Rhythm The pattern or beats in the lines of a poem.
Free Verse Poems that do not rhyme and do not have a regular rhyme.
Personification Giving human characteristic or traits to non-living things.
Alliteration Repetitions of the same or very similar constant sounds in words that are close together
