Falloff Change from light to shadow. Fast falloff is used to create suspense, slow falloff is a more subtle change and softens the light
Cameo Lighting Lighting technique that isolates the talent from the rest of the frame. Allows viewer to concentrate on talent, background is usually dark.
Silhouette Lighting Lighting the subject only from the back, keeps the foreground dark and the talent/subject is undetectable.
Three Point Lighting Lights are placed in a triangle formation to illuminate the subject, good lighting starting point.
