Contraband Anything prohibited by law from being imported or exported.
Contradict To assert the contrary or opposite of; deny directly and categorically.
Contrarian A person who takes an opposing view, especially one who rejects the majority opinion, as in economic matters.
Contrary Opposite in nature or character; diametrically or mutually opposed.
Contrast To compare in order to show unlikeness or differences; note the opposite natures, purposes, etc., of.
Counterbalance A weight balancing another weight; an equal weight, power, or influence acting in opposition; counterpoise.
Counterclockwise In a direction opposite to that of the normal rotation of the hands of a clock; not clockwise.
Counterexample An example that refutes an assertion or claim.
Counterfeit Made in imitation so as to be passed off fraudulently or deceptively as genuine; not genuine; forged.
