Suspension, Colloid, and Solution

TermDefinition
What is a Suspension? A mixture containing particles that settle out if left undisturbed.
What is a Colloid? A mixture containing mid-sized particles that do not settle out.
What is a Solution? A ion, atom, or molecule that are fully dissolved.
Which has the larger size particle? Suspension.
Which has the mid-sized particle? Colloid.
Which has the smallest particles? Solution.
