What is the relationship of pollution to resources? | As pollution increases, resources decrease. (Inverse Relationship) |
What is environmental science? | Environmental science is the study of natural processes in the environment and how humans affect them. |
What are the benefits of drilling for oil in Antarctica? | A new supply would lower the oil price, and it can create jobs. |
What are some drawbacks of drilling for oil in Antarctica? | Drilling is expensive, and an oil spill could be harmful to wildlife. |
What is Selective Cutting? | Only some trees are cut down in a forest. |
What is Clear Cutting? | All trees are cut down in a forest. |
What is Biodiversity? | The number of different species in an area or an ecosystem. |
What is an aquaculture? | The process of raising water organisms for food or other economic purposes. |

What does extinction mean? | All species have disappeared from earth and do not exist anymore. |
What does endangered mean? | A species that is in danger of becoming extinct. |
What does threatened mean? | A species that could become endangered. |

What is captive breeding? | The mating of animals in wildlife preserves or zoos |
What is habitat destruction? | The loss of natural habitat and it is the main cause of extinction. |
What is a fishery? | An area with a large population of ocean organisms. |
