TermDefinition
Assignment (n) a task or piece of work assigned to someone as part of a job or course of study.
Component (n) one of the parts of something (such as a system or mixture) : an important piece of something
Contain (v) to hold, to keep from spreading
Contemporary (adj) modern, new; relating to the same time period
Create (v) to make, to formulate
Discussion (n) the act of talking about something with another person or a group of people
Energy (n) the ability of something to do work, (physics) the capacity of a physical system to do work
Expectation (n) a feeling or belief about how successful, good, etc., someone or something will be
Explore (v) To search for or travel for the purpose of discovery; to investigate carefully
Grant (n) A sum of money or other payment given for a particular purpose (v) to give someone something that they wish for
Instrument (n) something used to do a specific task such as play music
Lecture (n) a talk or speech given to a group of people to teach them about a particular subject
Material (adj) natural and human-created objects used to create things
Objective (adj) based on facts rather than feelings or opinions
Participate (v) to be involved with others in doing something
Primary (adj) first; most important
Purpose (n) the reason why something is done or used : the aim or intention of something
Renewable (adj) A resource or raw material that can be grown and replaced.
Requirement (n) something that is needed or that must be done
Resource (n) A substance in the environment that is useful to people, is economically and technologically feasible to access, and is socially acceptable to use.
Structure (n) a building or the outline of a building, a thing constructed
Surprise (n or adj) A sudden unexpected event.
Syllabus (n) a summary outline of a discourse, treatise, or course of study or of examination requirements
Vehicle (n) Another name for a transportation device
