pathos | appeal to emotion |
logos | appeal to logic or reason |
rhetorical appeals | methods of persuading someone in an argument as defined by Aristotle using ethos, pathos, and logos |
reasoning | how your evidence supports your claim |
author's purpose | reason for writing |
audience | the person or people who will be reading the writing, or watching the presentation |

logos | appeals to the audience's reason, building up logical arguments |
