Flow of Electricity

TermDefinition
Electricity a form of energy produced inside particles of matter
Current the movement or flow of electricity in a certain path
Source of Energy the place where energy comes from
Conductor a substance that allows electricity or heat to easily pass through it
Insulator a substance that does not allow electricity or heat to easily pass through it
Circuit the path through which an electric current moves
Open Circuit a broken or incomplete electrical path
Closed Circuit an electrical path with no brakes or gaps
Parallel Circuit an electric circuit in which each device has its own separate loop
Series Circuit an electrical circuit in which the device are connected in one continuous loop.
Generator changes the energy of motion to electrical energy
Electromagnet when you use electricity to produce magnetism
Static Electricity is the build up of electric charges on an object.
