Flow of Electricity
| Term | Definition |

| Electricity | a form of energy produced inside particles of matter |
| Current | the movement or flow of electricity in a certain path |
| Source of Energy | the place where energy comes from |
| Conductor | a substance that allows electricity or heat to easily pass through it |
| Insulator | a substance that does not allow electricity or heat to easily pass through it |
| Circuit | the path through which an electric current moves |
| Open Circuit | a broken or incomplete electrical path |
| Closed Circuit | an electrical path with no brakes or gaps |
| Parallel Circuit | an electric circuit in which each device has its own separate loop |
| Series Circuit | an electrical circuit in which the device are connected in one continuous loop. |
| Generator | changes the energy of motion to electrical energy |
| Electromagnet | when you use electricity to produce magnetism |
| Static Electricity | is the build up of electric charges on an object. |
