Mixtures and Solutions

Mixture a combination of two substances that do not join together to form a new substance
Solution a mixture in which the substance are spread out evenly between one another and cannot be told apart
Dissolve to form a solution with another substance
Solubility the ability of a substance to dissolve in another substance
Solute a substance that dissolves in another substance
Solvent a substance into which another substances dissolves
