Understand various verbal/non-verbal communication modes

TermDefinition
Body Language the nonverbal imparting of information by means of conscious or subconscious bodily gestures, posture, etc.
Gesture a movement or position of the hand, arm, body, head, or face that is expressive of an idea, opinion, or emotion.
Tone quality or character of sound.
Stress mental, emotional, or physical strain or tension.
Inflection modulation of the voice; change in pitch or tone of voice.
Eye Contact the act of looking directly into another's eyes.
Facial Expression a gesture executed with the facial muscles.
Personal Space the variable and subjective distance at which one person feels comfortable talking to another.
