Reference Point | A place or object used for comparison to describe the position or motion of a person or object. |
Vector | A quantity that consists of both a magnitude and a direction. |
Average Speed | The overall rate of speed at watch an object moves; calculated by dividing the total distance an object travels by the total time. |
Instantaneous Speed | Is the rate at which an object is moving at a given instant in time. |
Slope | The steepness of a line on a graph, equal to its vertical change divided by its horizontal change. |
