What is High Stakes Testing? A standardized test to assess students mastery of academic standards.
No Child Left Behind Act Mandates state wide testing in reading and mathematics each year in grades 3-8, and requires public schools guarantee that all students are prepared to pass state proficiency tests.
What is Student Variability ? differences among students in regard to their developmental needs, interests, abilities and disabilities.
What Is Student Diversity? differences among students in regard to gender, race, ethnicity, culture, and socioeconomic status.
What Is Tenure? an employment policy in whack teachers, after serving a probationary period, retain positions indefinitely and an be dismissed only on legally defensible grounds.
