| ACT | a large section of a play/drama (scene is a part of this - Act 1, Scene 1) |
| AUTOBIOGRAPHY | a story written about someone's life by that person |
| CAST | a group of actors in a play/drama |
| DRAMA | a work meant to be performed on a stage |
| FIRST PERSON POINT OF VIEW | a person in the story is telling the story (Ex. the author uses I, my, me, we, us) |
| SCENE | a small section of a play/drama (a part of an act - Act 1, Scene 1) |
| SETTING | where and when a story takes place |
| STAGE DIRECTIONS | tells feelings, settings, or actions in a play/drama - tells the actors what to do |
| THIRD PERSON LIMITED POINT OF VIEW | A narrator outside of the story is telling the story. The narrator knows what ONE character is thinking and feeling (Ex. the author uses he, she, they) |
