What are the 3 phases of hair growth? How are they different 1) Anagen - active growth phase of the hair follicle: lasts 3-5 yrs. 2) Catagen- transition between growth and rest for 3 wks 3) Telogen is the rest phase for the follicle - 3 months.
Name 5 thigs we can tell about a suspect based on their hair? Color; trimmed or cut; pulled; length ; teture
What cant we tell based on their hair color? The skin color of the suspect.
How long ago was the victims hair dyed when the natural color of the root is visible and 2 cm of the natural color shows? The woman's hair was dyed about 2 months ago
What are the differences between animal and human hair? Human hair has different scale pattern compared to an animal. Human hair cuticles overlaps like roof shingles. Animal hair cuticles seem to stack on top of each other like a ladder. Also Animal hair is much larger than human hair.
