Co-Teaching

5 Types of Co-Teaching

TermDefinition
accomodation Any changes made to the work that do not change the academic level. (reducing number or problems, oral testing, extra time, etc)
modification A change made to the academic level of the work. Example student in 11th grade is completing 4th grade material.
inclusion Special education students are included into the general education setting with the support of a special education teacher.
instructional technology Technology used to complete lessons, interact with peers, research and develop assignments.
assistive technology Technology used to enable students with disabilities to take part in the educational process. An example is a talk to text device.
