| Boiling point | temperature at which liquid is turned to gas |
| Brittle | breaking into small pieces if bent or pressured |
| Chemical Property | a characteristic of a pure substance that describes its ability to change into different substances |
| Condensation Point | temperature at which gas turns to liquid |
| Conductor | a material that does allow electricity or heat to pass through easily |
| Density | an object’s mass compared to its volume. Mass divided by volume is density. |
| Dissolve | break into pieces too small to be seen |
| Ductile | able to be pulled into small this wieres |
| Flexible | able to bend without breaking |
| Freezing Point | temperature at which a liquid turns to a solid |
| Gram per centimeter cubed | a derived unit used to measure density of a solid |
| gram per millileiter | a derived unit used to measure density of a liquid |
| Insalator | a material that does not allow electricity or heat to pass through easily |
| Luster | shininess; the property of something that shines with reflected light |
| Magnetic | material that is attracted to magnets |
| Malleable | able to be hammered or pressed into flat sheets |
| Melting Point | temperature at which a solid turns to liquid |
| Soluable | able to dissolve |
| Sublimation | turning from solid to gas without turning into a liquid |
| Texture | how something feels, especially whether it is bumpy or smooth |
