Chemical Bounding The combining of atoms to form molecules or ionic compounds
Chemical bound an intertaction that holds atoms or ions together
valance electron an election that is found in the outermost shell of an atom and that determenes the atoms propesties
ionic bound a bound that forms when electrons transsfered from one another which results in a positive ion and a negative ion
ion a changed partical that forms when an atom or group of atoms gain or loses one or more electrons
covalent bound a bound formed when atoms share one or more pairs of electrons
molecule the smallest unit of a substance that keeps all of the phyical and chemical properties of the substance
metallic bound a bound fored by the attaction between positively changed metal ions and the electrons
