Chemical Bonding The combining of atoms to form molecules or ionic compound.
Chemical Bond An interaction that holds atoms or ions togeather.
Valance Electrons An electron that is found in the outermost shell of aan atom and that determines the atoms chemical properties.
Ionic Bond A bond that formes when when electrons are transfred from one atom to another, whitch reasults in a positve and negitive ion.
Ion A charged partical tha forms when an atom or group of atoms gains or looses one or more electron.
Covalent Bond A bond formed when atoms share one or more pairs of an electron
Molecule The smallest unit ofa substance that keeps all of the physical and chemical properties of that substance
Metallic Bond A Bond formed byt the attraction between positively charged metal ions and electrons around them
