TermDefinition
Element A pure substance that can not be separated into simpler substances by chemical or physical methods.
Pure Substance A meterial in which all the basic particles are the same.
Metal An element that is shiny and conducts heat and electricity well.
Nonmetal An element that conducts heat and electricity poorly.
Metalloid An element that has both properties of metals and nonmetals.
