TermDefinition
curious When you are eager to know or learn something.
hypothesis An idea that is suggested as a possible explanation for a particular situation or condition, but which has not yet been proved to be correct.
observe When you watch them carefully, especially in order to learn something about them.
evidence Anything that makes you believe something is true or has really happened.
culture The way of live of a group of people who share similar beliefs and customs.
civilization An advanced culture characterized by cities, an organized political system, art, religion, education, and a writing system.
produce When you make or create something.
unify When things or parts are brought together to form one thing.
colony When people from a powerful country claim and occupy distant lands, even if other people already live there.
foreign Someone or something that comes from or relates to another country.
romanticize When you think of something as better or more exciting than it really is.
settle When people settle a place or in a place, they start living there permanently.
accomplishment The successful completion of a task or the achievement of a goal.
intrigues When something strange or unusual interests you and you want to know more about it.
speculate When you make guesses about the nature of something or about what might happen.
innovation A new thing or a new method of doing something.
