Rewards Vocabulary Lessons 9-12

contaminated If something becomes impure or contaminated.
incentive Something that encourages you to do something.
immortal When someone or something is famous and likely to be remembered for a long time.
expedition An organized journey made for a particular purpose, such as exploration.
influence When people, things, a person or situation have an effect on a person's behavior or situation.
dependent When something or someone needs that thing or person in order to succeed or survive.
exuberant When you are full of energy, excitement, and cheerfulness.
determination The act of not letting anything stop you from achieving success.
substantial A large in amount or degree.
strenuous An activity or action that involves a lot of energy or effort.
permanent Lasting forever or occurring all the time.
gracious When someone is polite and considerate.
legendary When someone is very famous, well known, and many stories are told about them.
feature An interesting, important or distinct part or characteristic of an object, place or person.
capable When you are able to accomplish something.
persevere When you keep on trying to do something even if it is difficult.
