Mitochondrion Contains the cells food into chemical energy, site of most energy production or power source
Ribosomes Synthesize for producing proteins
Endoplasmic retculum Assembles proteins and lipids and transports them thought the cell Rough er: houses ribosomes which produce proteins Smooth er: makes lipids; breaks down toxins.
Golgi apparatus Modifies salts, and packages proteins and lipids through the er.
Vacuoles Stores water, salts, proteins,food, and waste products.
Vesicles Store and move materials between organelles
Lysosome Breaks down old or damaged organelles, gets rid of waste materials
Cytoskeleton Give cell its shape and prevent cell from collapsing
Centrioles Helps organize cell division
