Anything that has volume and mass Matter
A property of matter that can be observed or measured without changing the identity of the matter. Physical Property

The state in which matter take the shape of its container and has a definite volume Liquid
Vaporization that occurs at the surface of a liquid below the liquid's boiling point Evaporation
The change of state from a liquid to a gas: includes boiling and evaporation Vaporization
The change of state from a solid to a gas Sublimation
The change of state from a gas to a liquid Condensation
