| Crude Birth Rate | Number of live births in the population. |
| Crude Death Rate | Number of deaths in the population |
| Natural Increase Rate | The CBR minus the CDR in the population. |
| Total Fertility Rate | Average number of children a women may have. |
| Infant Mortality Rate | Estimated number of infant deaths. |
| Zero Population Growth | Limiting the number of live births to only have what is needed. |
| Primary Economic Activity | Activities where natural resources are extracted from the Earth. |
| Infrastructure | Physical and organizational structures of a building. |
| Subsistence Farming | Growing enough food for yourself to survive. |
| Agricultural Production | Occupation of cultivating land, raising livestock, etc. |
| Replacement Babies | Babies that replace your deceased ones. |
| Famine | Extreme scarcity of food. |
| Epidemic | Widespread occurrence of an infectious disease. |
| Pandemic | Disease present all over the world. |
| Agricultural Revolution | Transition from pre-agricultural period into an agricultural period. |

| The Medical Revolution | Advance in medical knowledge, resulting in cures of diseases. |
