| variable | part of an expirement that changes |
| manipulated variable | a factor in a controlled expirement that is intentionally changed by the expirementer |
| scientific theory | a well tested explenationfor a wide range of observations or expiriment results |

| responding | a resulting factor in a controlled expirement that is observed and measured to see if it changes due to manipulated of another variable |
| expirement | a course of action completed in ordee to test a hypothesis |

| physical | any change that alters form and apperiance of the matter does not make any substance in the matter into a different substance |
