| Chemical Properties | A Characteristic of a pure substance that is able to be changed into another substance |
| Qualitative Observations | Data gathered by using the five senses and that is recorded |
| Quanitative Observations | Data gathered and recorded by the use of numbers |
| Inference | A prediction made based on past experience |
| Scientific law | Something A Scientist Expects to happen every time under certain conditions |
| Constant | Something in an experiment that does not change for control and experimentation |
| Variable | A part of an experiment that changes |
| Independent Variable | A factor in an experiment that is changed by the scientist |
| Newton | A unit of force required to move 1 kilogram 1 meter |
| Gravity | The force pulls objects towards each other |
