As per site of action, whats the difference between NSAIDs and Opioids? NSAIDs affect the perception of pain (peripherally) while Opioids affect the reaction of the brain (cognitive)
A decrease in pain threshold is associated with what? emotional instability, anxiety, fear, fatigue, youth, certain nationalities, women, and fear and aprehension.
An increase in pain threshold is associated with what? Sleep, sympathy, activities, and analgesics.
What two groups are the analgesics divided into? The nonopioids (non narcotic) and the opioids (narcotics)
What are the nonopioids divided into? (3) Salicylates, Acetaminophen, and NSAIDs
