motion and force

velocity is the rate of speed at which something happens
Newton's Laws. Sir Isaac Newton devised three laws of motion
gravity is the force that causes everything that goes up to fall back down.
First law of Motion: an object will remain at rest or moving until acted upon by a force
THird law of motion: To every action there is an equal and opposite reaction
Frictional forces moving objects rubbing against another object
weight: The force exerted on any object by gravity
Second Law of Motion: force equals mass times acceleration
acceleration; a change in velocity
changes in velocity or acceleration can be moving faster, speeding up, slowing down, or changing direction
